ANIMAL RESCUE + ADVOCACY

• Being featured in Skin Trade – a documentary exposing the cruelty of the fur industry – along with actors Martin Sheen, James Cromwell, and Elaine Hendrix, and produced and directed by Beagle Freedom Project founder, Shannon Keith

• Founding "Heroes K9 Rescue" in which she dedicated more than 15 years to rescuing, fostering, rehabilitating, and finding homes for shelter dogs that were previously on "death row"

• Speaking at a press conference at the California State Capitol alongside Senator Dean Florez in support of animal-friendly legislation

• Interviewing actor Danny Trejo to support his campaign, "Real Men Spay and Neuter Their Pets"

• Speaking on behalf of Last Chance for Animals' (LCA) "Puppy Mill Awareness Day" alongside the Dog Whisperer Cesar Millan, singer/artist Pink, and drummer Rikki Rocket from Poison

Behind the scenes, Lacey has a strong passion for animals. Since her teenage years, she has dedicated herself to rescuing animals, advocating for their rights and empowering others who share the same mission. Some of her notable contributions include:

• Promoting the Fur Free West Hollywood campaign, making it the first U.S. city to ban the sale of animal fur apparel products

• Helping to raise awareness for the California "Pet Lover's License Plate", designed by actor Pierce Brosnan, to help fund no- or-low-cost spay and neuter clinics

Lacey and her husband Jonny Sculls now live in Las Vegas, Nevada, where they continue their work rescuing dogs. In 2023, the couple were featured on KLAS 8 News Now for saving the lives of three dogs – two Great Danes and an English Bulldog – that were not only being forced to live outdoors in temperatures exceeding 105° F (40.5° C) but were also were severely emaciated from starvation.

Lacey and Jonny fought hard to take legal possession of the dogs, and won. After spending months rehabilitating the dogs, Lacey and Jonny were finally able to give them a new life. The English Bulldog was adopted by a wonderful couple. He now travels the country in a luxury RV, visiting national parks and camping destinations. The Great Danes were adopted together by another couple who are close, personal friends of Jonny and Lacey. They too are now living their best life, and Jonny and Lacey visit them regularly.
